Below is the structure of the future privacy notice. Details that still need to be decided are marked for completion.

1. Controller and contact
To complete: the data controller’s full name, address and privacy contact email.
2. Data and processing purposes
Sign-in uses data supplied by your chosen identity provider. Profiles can contain optional details and a photo. Event, attendance and chat data support meetups and participant communication. Contact form messages and email addresses are used to handle enquiries and are visible only to the administrator. To complete: the legal basis and required data for each purpose.
3. Location and preferences
You can select your city manually. Precise device location is used only when you choose the feature and grant browser permission. Language preference is stored in a cookie for one year; dismissing the install invitation is remembered for seven days. To complete: the full list of session mechanisms and providers.
4. Recipients and retention
To complete: hosting and sign-in providers, any transfers outside the EEA, specific retention periods and deletion criteria for accounts, events and messages.
5. Rights and requests
To complete: the process for exercising data rights, contact details and information on complaints to the supervisory authority. Rights depend on the purpose and legal basis of processing.
